If the damage was discovered while our delivery team was present, our service department has likely been notified of the issue by the delivery team. As a standard procedure, a representative from our service department will give you a post-delivery call to make sure you are completely satisfied with your delivery and your new merchandise. Are the repairs done in my home or elsewhere?

Depending on the level of service or repair needed, service may be completed in your home, in our shop, or at the manufacturer’s factory.

I bought furniture from you a few years ago. It is no longer functioning properly (it is squeaking, making clanking noises, upholstery is splitting, etc.) Will Samuel’s repair this?

Please give our service department a call to verify any warranty that may still be in effect and if the damage is repairable, etc. Our service department will discuss the damages with you and, if appropriate, either send a technician to your home or have you bring the furniture to our shop for inspection and repair.

What is the cost to have a technician look at my furniture for repair?

If your purchase included our professional 5 Star Delivery Service, Samuel’s Furniture will offer free, in-home service to the original purchaser for one year from the original date of delivery. This service is for warranted defects and workmanship only and is provided to customers within our normal delivery area. After the one year free service period has expired, a labor charge for repairs and/or installation of warranted parts and a trip charge for the technician’s visit may apply. The customer will pay for all parts and labor required after both, the one year free service period and the manufacturers’ warranties, have expired. Any service, trip charge, or repair costs will be discussed with your beforehand.

Does my furniture have a warranty? If so, what is the length of my warranty and what does it cover?

Check with our service department. Depending on the manufacturer, your furniture may have a warranty ranging from one year to life-time warranty on certain parts, upholstery or frame. Samuel’s Furniture offers one year free, in-home service for warranted defects and workmanship from the original date of delivery (applicable only to orders which included our professional 5 Star Delivery Service).
